Halloween is the time of year to watch horror movies, get dressed up as our favorite characters, and eat tons of candy. Some people enjoy fall fun, while others love the scary side of the season. Whatever the case may be, the San Antonio area has something for everyone.

Hello viewers, my name is Jada Valdez and I’m a freshman at Wagner High School. I was born in San Antonio, TX on February 21, 2004. I attended Bowden Elementary School from Pre-K to Kindergarten before I moved to Jacksonville, NC and finished off my Kindergarten and 1st grade years at Bell Fork Elementary. I then went to Carolina Forest International Elementary School for the rest of my elementary career. Lastly, I attended Jacksonville Commons Middle School where I was involved in many clubs and extracurriculars such as, NJHS (president) and various musicals at the neighboring high school (Mary Poppins, Oliver and A Christmas Carol). I moved back to San Antonio over the summer and am excited to be involved in the community. I enjoy writing about current events and political/controversial topics. My inspirations as far as journalism goes are Trevor Noah, Colin Jost, Michael Che, and Stephen Colbert.
